Our state of the art classroom setting is designed to offer selected employees of insurance companies, third party administrators, self-administered employers and brokers the opportunity to advance to a professional career in managing claims.
With class sizes limited to twenty students, we offer an outstanding teacher-to-student ratio ensuring that all aspects of insurance adjusting are covered in the 225-hour training course. Students will be given hands-on instruction in business writing, word processing, electronic claim management, and customer service.
Our technical curriculum includes industry "best practices" regarding investigation, thorough medical and legal understanding and settlement negotiations, including PD Rating, structured settlements and legal dispositions.
Students are tested weekly with mid-term examinations given at the halfway point in the class. A final written examination and oral presentation is required before graduation. Grades are discussed with the student and progress reports are provided to the employer throughout the duration of the course.
